Improvements on schedule for Charleston schools

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Making Charleston County schools earthquake ready is a top priority in Charleston.

On Monday, the public got a better idea of construction progress at four schools deemed unable to withstand a major earthquake.

The district says improvements for the four schools is on schedule.

Schools undergoing seismic changes are Buist and Charleston Progressive academies along with Memminger and James Simons elementary schools.
