CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Charleston is marking the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks with a community concert in memory of those who fell in the terror attacks a decade ago.
The Sunday concert in the city's Marion Square on Sunday features the Charleston Community Band as well as singers from the Charleston Men's Chorus, the Charleston Symphony Orchestra Chorus and singers from the College of Charleston and the Citadel.
The concert is being sponsored along with Operation R & R. That's a nonprofit group that helps military personnel reconnect with their families on a vacation when they return from Iraq or Afghanistan.
