Get ready for one more hot and humid day before the fall season arrives in full force as we head into the end of the week.
Like days past, a mix of sun and clouds is expected heading into the afternoon. Highs will hit the mid 90's for some as we warm up ahead of the cold front that is approaching from the northwest.
With the humidity in place, along with the heat it, will feel somewhat uncomfortable especially in the sunshine. Rain chances are not high and other than a slight chance of a sea breeze storm, this afternoon should stay dry.
Thursday night, a drastic change in the weather is expected as a strong cold front moves through the Lowcountry. Temperatures will quickly fall Friday morning around sunrise. Showers will be possible during the day on Friday, but most of the wet weather chances stay in the evening and overnight forecast.
Cool high pressure centers in over the eastern sea board and that will set us up with a northeast fetch and much milder pattern. Highs the next few days will again have a hard time making it out of the mid to lower 70's so enjoy the more fall-like weather.
