MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - A man suspected of shooting a McDonald's manager earlier this month has now been charged in a restaurant armed robbery in Mount Pleasant.
On Thursday, detectives arrested and charged 27-year-old Joseph Whiteside with armed robbery. 20-year-old Kien Williams was also charged in the robbery.
Both were arrested in connection to the June 27 armed robbery of the Roadside Kitchen on 3563 Hwy 17 North.
A bond hearing was held on Thursday resulting in a $50,000 surety bond for each man.
Whiteside Jr., is accused of shooting a McDonald's employee earlier this month during a robbery at the restaurant on Ironclad Alley in Mt. Pleasant.
