Wednesday morning is a wet one for most of the Lowcountry as showers and clouds cover the area.
The radar shows lots of wet weather moving up the coast from the Georgia coastal waters and that trend should continue for the rest of the morning into the afternoon. Temperatures have been mild and muggy with many areas starting off the day in the lower 70s thanks to a light southeast breeze at times.
Temperatures should top out in the lower 80's by Wednesday afternoon with mostly cloudy conditions widespread. There could be a few breaks in the clouds, but those breaks will be scarce.
The afternoon rain chance is about 60 percent so keep the umbrella close at hand. Temperatures should fall back into the upper 70's Wednesday evening with the majority of the rain moving north of the area. There could be more overnight showers that develop into Thursday morning.
