GLENCOLMCILLE, IRELAND (WCSC) - A missing Charleston woman was found alive Wednesday in Ireland, four days after she disappeared.

According to reports from several European media outlets, missing tourist Kelly Katherine Jones, who disappeared without a trace Saturday in Ireland, was found safe Wednesday.

Jones, 41, is originally from Texas, but works in the catering industry in Charleston. She had been vacationing in Glencolmcille when she went missing in the mountainous region. Authorities believe she may have been hiking when she disappeared.

Jones was found safe in a building in Donegal County and was taken by helicopter to a hospital. Local volunteers had been searching for her since the weekend.

Jones had no physical injuries, but emergency crews believe she may be suffering from hypothermia.

Dozens of emergency personnel and local volunteers had searched by land, air and sea for Jones.
