(RNN) - If you are one of the thousands who are angered by Facebook's recent layout update, please hold your hate mail one more day because more changes are coming. Facebook will announce more tweaks at its F8 conference in San Francisco on Thursday.

At the top on the rumor list, the social media empire will announce a Facebook music platform that will allow users to listen to music on demand and better share their interests with their friends.

Unlike Apple, Google and Amazon, who built their own cloud-based music service, it seems Facebook is integrating established music streaming services.

The anticipation for Thursday's announcement stems back to May when Forbes announced that Facebook had struck a partnership with the European music-streaming company Spotify.

In July, software engineer and researcher Jeff Rose discovered a clue hinting at the arrival of the Facebook music platform, and again the tech world was swarming with speculation.

According to the technology site ZDNet, Rose stumbled upon a small string of code referencing a service called "Vibes" lodged inside a desktop app used for Facebook's Skype-powered video chat service.

According to a report by the social media blog, Mashable, MOG, Rdio and possibly others will join with Spotify to bring music to Facebook.

The three on-demand music-streaming services offer similar subscription levels ranging from free up to a monthly $9.99 package.

The entry level plans are free, but limit the experience with different tactics, including ads, usage caps and even requesting that free users recruit others to keep their service.

Users can dump the ads and many other restrictions after paying a $4.99 monthly fee.

But for a full on demand experience, with features including mobile and offline usage and higher quality streaming, users will have to drop just under $10.
