Suspect sought for shooting teenager in downtown

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police are looking for information on a shooting that injured a 15-year-old boy in downtown Wednesday night.

The Charleston Police Department responded to the area of Congress and Strawberry streets for a shooting.

Officers found the teenager laying on the streets in front of a home on Senate Street with a gun shot wound to the upper thigh.

Authorities describe the suspect as a black male, wearing all black clothing and last seen on a bicycle.
