Driver charged after truck overturns in Moncks Corner

MONCKS CORNER, SC (WCSC) -

South Carolina Highway Patrol charged a 17 year old with driving too fast Monday after a single-car accident in Moncks Corner.

According to troopers, a 1995 Dodge pick-up truck traveling east on Whitesville Road ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

The driver, 17-year-old William Lee Keller, and a 14 year old passenger were injured in the wreck. They were both transported to Trident Hospital.

The accident happened near the corner of Whitesville Road and Airport Drive near the Berkeley County Regional Airport in Moncks Corner.

Keller was charged with driving too fast for conditions.

SC Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
