CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Bond was set at $100,00 for a man accused of robbing a downtown Charleston bank.
The suspect, 58-year-old Clyde Spillers, turned himself in to US marshals Thursday afternoon at their East Bay Street office.
Investigators released a picture showing Spillers with an arm injury that led to several leads in the case, according to US marshals.
Charleston police officers say he went into the First Citizens Bank on Meeting Street in downtown Charleston on Sept. 20 and handed a teller a note demanding money.
Spillers is facing charges for entering a bank with intent to steal.
