ORANGEBURG, SC (WCSC) - Authorities have arrested a 29-year-old man suspected of dealing drugs near a school.
Bond was set at $300,000 for Michael Ray Darby Jr. who is charged with possession with intent to distribute near a school.
According to the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office, Darby was caught with 116 grams of cocaine within a half mile of Orangeburg Wilkinson High School.
An incident report states that investigators also found 118 grams of cocaine in Darby's house during a search of his home.
The sheriff's office say they have also arrested 25-year-old Taquan Bookhard in a separate case where Bookhard was found with cocaine and marijuana.
Bookhard was given a $175,000 bond.
