ORANGEBURG, SC (WCSC) - Orangeburg County sheriff's deputies arrested two men Friday after finding drugs, cash, and a handgun in each of their homes.
28-year-old Franklin Cullen of 115 Lazy Way Drive was arrested for simple possession and distribution of marijuana.
22-year-old Bernard Singleton, Jr. of 115 Broughton Street was also arrested for possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to distribute in proximity of a school.
More than 2 pounds of marijuana, a handgun, and cash were seized in both incidents.
Cullen's bond was set for $3,120 or surety and Singleton's bond was set for $100,000 or surety.
"Our narcotics investigations are talking place across Orangeburg County. There is a lot of work to do and we are making it happen," Leroy Ravenell, Orangeburg County Sheriff said.
The Orangeburg Department of Public Safety assisted with the search warrants.
