NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

North Charleston Police are looking for Devon Maurice Wigfall.

Wigfall, 31, is wanted on the charge of financial identity fraud that police say happened in August and September 2011.

"The victim in this case, his wallet was stolen containing his credit cards, his identity and all his information," said North Charleston Police Sgt. James Hill.

Police say it didn't take long for Wigfall to go to work with the victim's information.

"All of a sudden he started noticing large sums of money being charged, withdrawn from his bank," said Hill. "What Mr. Wigfall had done, he added himself as the victim's son on bank accounts and credit cards."

Investigators say eventually Wigfall was caught on camera when he went to a bank to withdraw cash using a phony debit card.

"Fortunately we got lucky with this guy here in figuring out who he was," Hill said.

Now police need your help to find Wigfall.

He stands 5'6" and weighs about 150 lbs.

His last known address is Stark Coker Drive in St. Stephen.
