Statement: Government should work for you not the other way around. During my time on council I have worked hard to make sure that city government is accountable to those it serves. My proposal to have City Council meetings broadcast on local television, as well as streaming over the internet, has allowed many of our busy citizens who don't have time to attend council meetings in person, to keep track of what their city council is doing. As Mayor, I will work to take this initiative even further, by streaming committee meetings to the public so you can truly see how decisions are made and where their elected officials stand.
