2.5 magnitude earthquake reported Saturday near Summerville

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - The United States Geological Society is reporting a magnitude 2.5 earthquake in southeastern South Carolina.

The small magnitude earthquake occurred around 3:02 a.m. Saturday at the epicenter, located approximately two miles (four kilometers) from Summerville, according to the Southeast US Seismic Network.
