GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Deputies are looking for a man who held up an employee at a Cricket Wireless store in Goose Creek.
Berkeley County sheriff's deputies responded to the store in the 500 block of St. James Avenue on Monday night around 6:30 p.m. in response to an armed robbery. Upon arrival, the victim said she was cleaning the glass on the front of the business as she prepared to close when a man walked up and knocked on the door.
The employee said when she asked him what he wanted he told her he was there to make a deposit. Once the victim walked behind the counter, she said the man brandished a handgun and told her to empty the cash register.
After she handed over the money, the man told her to get face down on the floor and count to twenty.
Authorities are looking for a slimly-built black male standing approximately 5'10". Deputies say he was dressed in all black with a hood pulled over his head during the robbery.
