BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - A Berkeley County sheriff's deputy is out of the hospital after crashing his cruiser Monday night.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the deputy was trying to stop a four-wheeler on Jehovah Lane on Monday night when he crashed.

The road was made of gravel and he lost control, ran off the road and hit a tree.
