NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A family of two was displaced by a fire at their Makana Street home Monday afternoon in North Charleston.
The North Charleston Fire Department responded to the house fire just after 3 p.m. Monday. The first units on scene reported smoke.
There was significant damage to the home. One resident was treated for minor injuries.
The family is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
