An Orangeburg man was arrested Wednesday morning and his home has been condemned after a narcotics investigation found drugs, human waste and trash in the home.
Orangeburg County sheriff's deputies conducted a search warrant at a Rambling Ridge Road home Wednesday. Deputies found marijuana, cocaine and crack cocaine in the home.
Upon arrival, investigators located the suspect, Clay Joseph Pringle, inside the home. Deputies had received several complaints about narcotics being sold in this area.
"With Pringles arrest, we are hopeful the residents in this community will see a change," said Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell.
According to deputies, the conditions of the house were so disgusting that code enforcement agents condemned the home.
"It is by far the worst conditions I have seen of an able-bodied young man," Ravenell said.
Deputies say the shrubs around the house were overgrown and inside the house there were insects, trash and human waste everywhere.
"Commander Ronda Bamberg and her investigators are not only taking drugs off the streets but they are also assisting home owners in cleaning up their neighborhoods," said Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell.
