Police arrest man for criminal sexual conduct with a minor

BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) - Bluffton police have charged an 18-year-old man with criminal sexual conduct with a minor after they say he engaged in sex with a 14-year-old girl multiple times.

The Bluffton Police Department was contacted on Sept. 8, 2010 in reference to an inappropriate relationship between 18-year-old Cesar Ramirez-Sanchez and a 14-year-old female.

Investigators found that Ramirez-Sanchez had sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl several times in the previous month. The incident occurred at the female's residence.

Bluffton Police obtained a warrant for Ramirez-Sanchez's arrest, but found out that he was already incarcerated at the Wateree Correctional Facility for unrelated charges. Bluffton Police were waiting at the Wateree Correctional Facility to pick up Ramirez-Sanchez when he was released.

Bluffton Police then served Ramirez-Sanchez with a warrant for criminal sexual conduct with a minor. He was transported to the Beaufort County Detention Center.
