NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - One of the suspects involved in last week's armed robbery at Pierpont Pub is also facing swindling charges after police say he sold a stolen pickup truck for $150.

Charleston Police Department officers say 22-year-old Deangelo Martequis Brown, of Adams Run, stole a 1986 GMC truck from a home on Hazelwood Drive and then sold it to Cash 4 Clunkers on Jet Park Drive, who then sold the vehicle to LKQ Charleston Self Serve Auto Parts.  Police say Brown sold the vehicle to Cash 4 Clunkers on October 28.

Employees with Cash 4 Clunkers said that Brown told them his uncle gave him the car and that he wanted to sell it.  Authorities say Brown signed a South Carolina Bill of Sale stating that he was the owner.  He received $150 in the transaction.

He is charged with larceny by false pretenses.
