CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Auditor Peggy Moseley says that people can pay their real estate tax bills online on Wednesday.
Moseley says that tax bills will also be double checked on Wednesday as well and will begin to start mailing them out.
According to Moseley, the bills are usually mailed out on Sept. 30, but due to a programming glitch they are late.
Many Charleston County residents still have not received tax bills. That issue was on the table last week as the council questioned Moseley about the delay in mailing property taxes. Moseley says a glitch with a software system is to blame.
