Police: 1 injured in North Charleston shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department was called out to Braddock Avenue regarding shots fired in the area around 11 p.m. Friday.

Officers say when they got the scene they found an unoccupied vehicle in the ditch with a bullet hole in the rear passenger side window. The victim told police that he was attempting to back into the driveway, when a male suspect wearing a beige hoodie shot at him.

The victim was taking to MUSC with a non life-threatening gunshot wound. Authorities say the suspect got away on foot.
