ORANGEBURG, SC (WCSC) - The Orangeburg County Sheriff Office says they've arrested two men who were caught with weapons and drugs after a search warrant Friday.
According to deputies, they entered a home in Eutawville on Lullwater Road, where they were able to seize crack cocaine, cocaine, and marijuana as well as an AR-15 machine gun, a .45 caliber Glock handgun with an extended magazine, and a .40 caliber Smith and Wesson handgun.
Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said, "It is our intention to not only rid the streets of Orangeburg County of illegal drugs but to also remove weapons and handguns from criminals that who have no regard for the value of a human life."
Akeem Anderson, 28, of Holly Hill is charged with trafficking crack cocaine, trafficking cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Anderson's bond amount was set at $150,000. Jerrell Davis, 25, from Ladson is charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine. Davis received a $10,000 surety bond.
