Firefighters busy on Thanksgiving putting out 3 house fires

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - The North Charleston Fire Department was busy on Thanksgiving putting out three separate fires.

The first fire happened at a home on 7900 Warsaw St in the Forest Hills Subdivision. According to fire officials, the homeowner was cooking with a turkey fryer and accidentally set the outside of the home on fire.

Just after 6 p.m., firefighters responded to a mobile home park on Highway 78 for a single wide mobile home structure fire. Two people were displaced and that fire is under investigation.

Another fire happened on Rivers Avenue where a fire started on a pot and caused minor damage to the kitchen.

There were no reported injuries in the fires reported.
