MONCKS CORNER, SC (WCSC) - The National Transportation Safety Board released a preliminary report of a Moncks Corner plane crash last October.
The plane's pilot, 64-year-old Kenneth Tollett was found dead in the wreckage near the Berkeley County Airport.
The report said that field examinations of the crash site revealed that the plane was in good condition when it took off. The report also states the plane was found wedged between several trees.
There were no witnesses to the crash, however someone saw Tollet parking his car and entering his plane.
Tollett was a history teacher who retired from Berkeley High School in 2008.
