NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank and took off on a bicycle in North Charleston Monday afternoon.
Around 1:47 p.m., North Charleston Police Department officers responded to the First Federal Bank at 7850 Rivers Ave. in reference to a bank robbery.
According to investigators, the suspect entered the bank with a handgun and demanded money.
Authorities say the suspect got money, fled on foot from the bank to a bicycle and rode off. The bicycle was recovered behind a nearby business.
Police describe the suspect as a black male wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, a black mask, and carrying a black backpack.
