Man arrested after lying to state troopers about deadly accident

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol arrested the brother of a felony DUI driver who was involved in a deadly head on-collision with another vehicle.

Troopers say 25-year-old Devin Matthew Robinson of Cross was arrested Saturday and charged with giving false information regarding an accident that took place in early November. Robinson's sister was charged with felony DUI that occurred on Broughton Road in Moncks Corner.

Authorities charged former EMS paramedic 27-year-old Chelsea Arrowood of Summerville with obstruction of justice. Investigators say Arrowood apparantly took marijuana from Robinson's sister's pants while treating her at the scene of the accident.

Robinson is being held at the Hill-Finkla Detention Center in Monck Corner.
