Georgetown deputies looking for 2 armed robbery suspects

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Pawleys Island.

Authorities say that around 8:30 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to the guard shack at the entrance to Pawleys Plantation. The victim stated he was robbed with what appeared to be a handgun by three people while he was waiting on a friend. The victim identified the suspects.

A short time later, Michael Christian Lee, 24, of 360 Linden Circle in Pawleys Island, was taken into custody. He is currently being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.

The Georgetown Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating the other two suspects. The suspects are identified as Jeremy Lavester Holden, 26, of the Pawleys Island area and Darnell Michael Simmons, 19, of the Pawleys Island area.
