Suspect sought for downtown seafood restaurant burglary

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Authorities are on the lookout for a man who broke into a downtown seafood restaurant.

Charleston police responded to Hyman's Seafood in reference to a burglary early Friday morning.

The victim said someone kicked a secure double door to gain access to the restaurant. When the suspect located the manager's office, the suspect kicked the office's secure door in.

A police report states that the suspect went through the desk, drawers and filing cabinet. The manager of the restaurant said nothing appeared to be missing.

The suspect is described as a black male, between the ages of 20 and 30 years old, 5'10 to 6'2", 160 to 200 pounds.
