CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -
The Citadel is expected to face a new lawsuit involving suspected child predator Louis "Skip" ReVille.
The Jefferson Anderson and Associates law firm says they are planning to file a lawsuit against the military school on behalf of the mother of a young man who was allegedly sexually abused by ReVille on numerous occasions.
According to the law firm, the victim was sexually abused by ReVille in 2007 and 2008.
The mother of the victim said,"The Citadel was grossly negligent in not reporting ReVille's 2002 abuse."
The law firm is expected to announce the civil lawsuit on Wednesday naming The Citadel as the sole defendant and claims the college was grossly negligent in not reporting knowledge of previous abuse by ReVille.
ReVille is facing charges in Mt. Pleasant and Hanahan. Summerville police also are investigating the former coach and assistant school principal.
ReVille is being held in the Charleston County Detention Center on more than $1 million bond.
