NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police say a 27-year-old man was stabbed in the arm Thursday morning after he forced his way inside his ex-girlfriend's home in North Charleston.
North Charleston police officers charged 22-year-old Sha Esha Jackson with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature and her ex-boyfriend, 27-year-old Willie Lewis Jr., with criminal domestic violence.
Around 10:30 a.m., officers responded to a home on Ross Street for a stabbing. Lewis told officers he came to the home to pick up his child for the weekend and had an argument with Jackson.
Lewis said that while leaving the home with the child, Jackson stabbed Lewis in the left arm with a knife.
Jackson told investigators that Lewis knocked on the door and after she answered it, Lewis forced himself inside and pushed her down the floor causing her to hit her head on the wall.
Jackson told police that Lewis also hit her in the mouth. She told officers that after they had an argument, Lewis refused to leave the house so Jackson picked up a knife and cut him.
Lewis was transported to EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
