Cell phone store armed robber strikes again in Berkeley Co.

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

A serial armed robber struck again last week, holding up another cell phone store, according to the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say the suspect robbed the Cricket Wireless store on Redbank Road on Dec. 12. Witnesses say he came into the store demanding money while pointing a handgun at the workers. There was also a customer in the store with small children.

Investigators have linked the suspect to three other armed robberies that occurred at another Cricket Wireless store in the Goose Creek area since Oct. 6. The description of the suspect in the earlier robberies matches the description of the suspect in last week's armed robbery.

He is described as a black male, approximately 6'1" who weighs about 260 pounds.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. The owners of the Cricket Wireless stores are offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons involved in this crime.
