Time running out to mail letters for Christmas day delivery

Crowds of people are descending on the post office to send last minute Christmas cards in the mail so they can arrive by Christmas.

With only four days left until Christmas, time is beginning to run out for those who hope to send holiday greetings and gifts through the mail.

Wednesday is the last day to send things priority within the U.S. mail and have it arrive in time for Christmas. Thursday is the last day for express mail.

The post office will be open normal hours on Saturday-- which is Christmas Eve. Some locations though, including the office in Mount Pleasant, will close at noon.

The post office will observe the Christmas holiday on Monday -- so you don't have to worry about checking the mail then.

Willi Glee is just one of many people who saw time get away from him and had to make a quick trip to the post office.

"My intention was to get it in the mail as soon as I could," said Glee."But I got busy and I didn't buy the cards till yesterday."
