NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A judge set bond Thursday at $150,000 for a man accused of attempting to rob a North Charleston electronics store Wednesday.

Police arrested 32-year-old Bernard William Reese of Goose Creek on Wednesday and charged him with attempted armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. Bond was set at $100,000 for the robbery charge and $50,000 for the firearm charge.

Police say Reese entered Crazy Bobs Electronics, approached the employees and demanded money.

Several employees confronted the suspect and during the confrontation the suspect dropped the weapon and fled the store. No one in the business was injured.
