Police respond to shots fired report behind West Ashley H.S.

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police have set up a road block on Wildcat Boulevard by West Ashley High School after reports of shots fired in the area Thursday morning.

Police say they received reports around 11 a.m. that shots had been fired in the wooded area behind West Ashley High School.

The school has been placed on lock down, but school is not in session because of the holiday break.

No other information has been released.
