With so many bars in Charleston having New Year's Eve parties, one might have trouble picking out where to go and what to do. With every bar offering a champagne toast a midnight and some music, some places are doing a little extra to make sure that your New Years is memorable.
Below is a sample of some places that could make your New Year's Eve special:
New Year's Eve Platinum Ball
Info: There will be plenty of music to bring in the new year at Hippodrome, including live local bands and DJ's. There will also be a champagne toast at midnight, and a surprise performance.

Tickets: $95 and will include drinks and appetizers. VIP tickets are $150.
Snyder Grand Ball
Where: SC Aquarium
Tickets: $125. The event has sold out.
Mad River Bar and Grille
Info: $100 will get you into this new year's bash, giving you access to a top-shelf open bar, hors d'oeuvres, and a balloon drop. There will also be a live DJ providing music.
Where: Mad River Bar and Grille, Market Street
New Year's Eve Dance party at The Brick
Info: The New Year's Eve Dance Party at Brick will feature a DJ who will be pumping music all night to get you dancing. The bar will have mulitple drink specials. Party favors will be given out, along with a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.

Tickets: $125. The event has sold out
Day of the Dead Goodbye to 2011
Info: The new year will begin with a celebration of the year that was. This funeral themed party will include a free champagne toast, live music and skull face-painting. This is event will be free to attend.

New Year's Eve at the Music Farm
Info: The Movement will be hitting the stage at the Music Farm, jammin the night away with their reggae/rock style of music. Long Miles and Three Legged Fox will open the show, which starts at 8 p.m.

Tickets: $15 in advance and $20 day of
New Year's Eve Party at Rooftop
Info: Celebrate new years under the stars at Rooftop Bar. The Louie D. Project will be performing live, and there will be a complimentary champagne toast and party favors for all.
The event costs $20 to get in, or having dinner at Library that night will get you free admission.

New Year's Eve at Club Pantheon
Info: New Year's Eve at Club Pantheon will be hosted by MC Brook Collins with DJ Jesse and DJ David. There will be a $5,000 cash drop at midnight. Tickets to the event are $10 at the door.

Boone's Bar and Grill New Year's Eve
Info: Celebrate New Year's Eve at Boone's Bar and Grill. Enjoy complimentary cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will listening tot he music of The David Higgins Band

Torch Velvet Lounge New Year's Eve
Info: Celebrate New Year's Eve at Torch Velvet Lounge. The masquerade-themed New Year's Eve party begins at 8 p.m. There will be complimentary Mardi Gras masks, bottle service, a champagne toast, and limo service.

Red's New Year's Eve Bash
Info: Red's Ice House will be offering four bars and live music all night long. There will be plenty of room for everyone as the lighthouse next door to Red's will be open. Tickets to this event are $80 and will include a food buffet and a free champagne toast at midnight.

New Year's Eve dinner at Red Drum and Next Door
Info: Bring in the new year with fine dining and fireworks at both Red Drum and Next Door restaurants. Both will be offering special gourmet dinner selections, as well as Bottomless Bubbles for $11. As the ball drops at midnight, there will be a fireworks show for all to enjoy.

New Year's Eve Crystal Ball
Info: There will be live music and food a-plenty at the Omar Shrine Temple on New Year's Eve. Enjoy music from the East Coast Party Band and Plane Jane, a digital sound and light show, and a champagne toast at midnight.
Tickets to the event are $110, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit MUSC's Children's Hospital. The party starts at 8 p.m.

Blackbeard's Cove family fun for New Year's Eve
Info: If you are looking to have some outdoor fun with the family on New Year's Eve, Blackbeard's Cove is the place to be.
From 4 to 8 p.m., a family-of-four Mutinee Pass will get you two hours of unlimited golf, go-karts, climbing wall, jump land and indoor playground access, along with a 16" pizza and drinks. A teen party will start at 10 p.m.
