Goose Creek Police investigating shooting, armed robbery at Zaxby’s

GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - The Goose Creek Police Department is investigating a shooting early Saturday morning at the Zaxby's on Saint James Avenue.

Authorities say two black men armed with a gun entered the restaurant around mid-night and demanded money from the business.

During the robbery a shot was fired in the restaurant hitting one employee. Police says the victim was taken to the hospital where they were treated and released for a non life-threatening injury.

The suspects got away with an undetermined amount of cash.

Berkeley County K-9 Units were also called in to help track down the suspects, which led authorities near the Foxborough Subdivision.
