Bond set at $150k for Orangeburg attempted murder suspect

ORANGEBURG, SC (WCSC) - Bond was set at $150,000 for a man suspected of a shooting that put one man in the hospital on Christmas Day.

The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office says 18-year-old Devon Tremain Thomas of North, SC was arrested Wednesday evening without incident.

According to reports, the 38-year-old victim walked up to Thomas' car while parked at a store on Arlington Drive, at which point Thomas began firing at the victim.

Investigators say the victim fell to the ground and Thomas continued shooting at him.The victim is still undergoing medical treatment and is listed in stable condition.
