JOHNS ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Still no arrests in the armed robbery at a Johns Island Dollar General that's been hit three times in the last three months.
Charleston Police say it's too early to tell if the crimes are related, but the most recent one happened Wednesday night at the store on River Road and Maybank Highway.
Neighbors say they're worried for their safety.
"They told my neighbors to stay in buildings, lock your doors, don't answer for anyone at this point. That to me made me very nervous when it's that serious," says resident Cheri Berrie.
"Safety here on John's Island has definitely gotten less and less as the years go by. I've lived here for three years. In the past couple months there have been other stores down the road that have been robbed," said Juan Soto.
No arrests have been made in any of the robberies. If you have any information call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
