SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) -

Dorchester County deputies have arrested three teens in connection with a murder which happened at an apartment complex on Orangeburg Road on Dec. 19.

According to the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office, 19-year-old Dana Andrew Butler Jr., of Ridgeville, shot and killed 19-year-old William Michael Cummings at the Azalea Park Apartments around 7:30 p.m.

He is charged with armed robbery and murder. Deputies arrested Butler on December 30.

On Thursday, deputies announced the arrests of 17-year-old Enphaie Swarez and 19-year-old Ramera Stroman, both from Summerville, in connection with the murder. Both women were charged with criminal conspiracy and given a $40,000 bond.

Investigators say the murder was a result of a set-up during a drug deal.  Investigators say Swarez and Stroman met Cummings to buy marijuana when Butler emerged from a wooded area with a gun and began firing.

Butler was denied bond. He is being held in the Dorchester County Detention Center.
