MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Bond was set at $200,000 for a 25-year-old man suspected of robbing a pizza delivery man at gunpoint.
Authorities arrested George Henry Brown on Thursday and charged him with the armed robbery of a Papa Johns Pizza delivery driver.
Court officials say Brown has two prior convictions for an attempted armed robbery in 2006 and an armed robbery in 2009.
An incident report states that surveillance video from Papa John's Pizza on Dec. 18 show that Brown was in the restaurant for a couple of minutes and placed two phone calls from his cell phone. Investigators say that Brown appeared to be watching the employees as well as the delivery drivers.
According to investigators, an hour later, a driver from the restaurant was approached by a man, fitting Brown's description, and robbed at gunpoint.
Brown was taken into custody at his home on Thursday by members of the Mount Pleasant Police S.W.A.T. Team.
