NEW YORK (CNN) - More than 5,000 artifacts recovered from the Titanic will be auctioned off in April.

Items include a 17-ton portion of the ship's hull and personal belongings of passengers.

The auction will take place on the 100th anniversary of the ocean liner's maiden voyage.

Titanic set sail from Southampton, England on April 11, 1912. It struck an iceberg and sank on April 15.

You won't be able to bid on just one item from the historic ship. Premiere Exhibitions, which owns the collectables, will sell all the artifacts as a single lot.

The collection had an appraised value of $189 dollars in 2007 and the collection has grown since then.
