Bond set at $150,000 for Dollar General armed robbery suspect

JOHNS ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police arrested a 20-year-old man wanted in connection with the Dec. 28 armed robbery at Dollar General on Johns Island. A judge set his bond at $150,000.

Authorities arrested Devon Goss on Saturday morning for the armed robbery that occurred on River Road. Goss was taken into custody at Pondview Road with the assistance of the Charleston County Sheriff's Office.

Goss is charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime and is being held in the Charleston County Jail.

He went to bond court on Saturday morning. A judge gave him a $100,000 bond for armed robbery and a $50,000 bond for possession of a weapon.

Investigators say they are trying to determine if the other armed robberies at this Dollar General are related.
