Cops arrest 2 accused of shooting, armed robbery at Goose Creek Zaxby's

GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Police say they have arrested two men in connection with the armed robbery and shooting which happened at a Goose Creek Zaxby's Restaurant on Christmas Eve.

Goose Creek Police Department officials say Christopher Wilson, 25, and Donte Brown, 23, are the two men who held up the restaurant on Saint James Avenue on the morning of December 24.

Police say one of the employees in the store was shot during the robbery.  That victim recovered from minor injuries.

Wilson and Brown have each been charged with 6 counts of armed robbery with a deadly weapon, 5 counts of kidnapping, one count of attempted murder, 2nd-degree burglary, possession of a firearm by a felon, and criminal conspiracy.

Both suspects are being held in the Berkeley County Detention Center.  They are awaiting a bond hearing.
