BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Authorities are on the lookout for two men who used a stolen credit card to go on a shopping spree in Beaufort County.
The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office says the suspects used the stolen credit card to make more than $300 in purchases at several local businesses.
The victim contacted authorities on Jan. 6 after realizing his wallet was missing and discovering unauthorized purchases had been made using his credit card. According to investigators, the wallet was possibly stolen while the victim was shopping at the Tanger 2 outlet complex.
Surveillance video shows that the suspects used the stolen credit card at the Bluffton Circle K on 1565 Fording Island Rd around 10:35 p.m.
