Authorities investigating possible abduction on James Island

JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Investigators with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office say they are investigating a possible abduction on James Island.

Authorities are searching for a white female described as 5'6" to 5'8" in height, blonde hair, wearing a pink t-shirt and flip flop style shoes.

According to investigators, the victim was last seen walking near or around 2190 Saint James Drive when a white sedan vehicle, possibly a Lexus, occupied by three black males approached her.

The sheriff's office says that one of the males left the vehicle, grabbed the victim and threw her in the back seat of the car. The vehicle was last seen heading toward Central Park and Maybank Highway.

The Charleston County Sheriff's Office are treating the incident as a possible kidnapping incident. According to authorities, one of the flip flops that the victim was wearing at the time of the incident was recovered by authorities.
