WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) -

Investigators say two men have been arrested for hiding information involving a homicide in West Ashley.

The Charleston Police Department charged 24-year-old Demeatrius Smalls and 24-year-old Robert Fields with obstruction of justice in the homicide of 27-year-old Kentrell Samuel who was found shot to death on Jan. 5 on a driveway on San Miguel Road.

Detectives say they determined that Smalls and Fields attempted to hinder or impede the murder investigation by concealing information about the incident.

Police are continuing the investigation.
