ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) - Rock Hill police are investigating what they say is a case of elder abuse involving a 100-year-old woman and her 85-year-old niece.
The Herald of Rock Hill reports that police were called to a local bank Thursday after customers told the manager they saw an elderly woman being pushed out of a car.
The manager told police that the 100-year-old woman and her caretaker, who is also her 85-year-old niece, are frequent customers at the bank, and that the niece is constantly pushing and shouting at her aunt.
The 100-year-old woman says her niece frequently pulls her hair and twists her nose as well as pushing her, occasionally causing her to fall.
The names of the women were not immediately available. Police expect to make an arrest soon.
