CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Two victims called the police Tuesday afternoon after they say a man in a pick-up truck pointed at shotgun at them because they apparently knocked on his door.
According to a Charleston Police Department report, two victims were walking down Ashley Hall Plantation Road around 4:20 p.m. Tuesday when a man in a white pick-up truck approached them and asked if they had knocked on his door. When the victims said they had, the man allegedly took out a shotgun and pointed it at them.
The man said, "Don't knock on my door or I will put buckshot in you," according to the report. He then fled the scene in his truck.
The victims told investigators that they had knocked on the door of a home because they thought a friend lived there. When no one answered they left.
Police officers went to the home to look for the suspect, but no one was home and there was no truck in the driveway.
The suspect is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. The case remains open.
